Endosee
Endosee is an office hysteroscopy used as a diagnostic tool allowing us to evaluate the inside of the uterus quickly and easily, without need for general anesthesia in an operating room. Endosee helps to find the causes of abnormal bleeding such as polyps and aid with infertility issues. Camera is extremely small, but gives quality images from inside the uterus, such as lost IUDs strings that can be identified and therefore facilitate removal of the IUD. Because the diameter is so small dilation of the cervix is not required, thus preventing pain. Dr. Karon also uses paracervical block with all IUD placements therefore eliminating most discomfort.
