Physician Assistant Studies
Since 2002, Dr. Karon has been a preceptor with the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She has been teaching physician assistants in training to gain experience in office practice, obstetrical care and deliveries and assisting in surgery as well as observing advanced surgeries. The PAs have an opportunity to participate in clinical research publications and data collection. Dr. Karon has included some students in her presentations and lectures.
Dr. Karon has enjoyed her collaboration in research presentations with Dr. Somu Chatterjee, MD, MPH, Assistant Professor, faculty of Physician Assistant Studies at the University Of Kentucky.
